Since playing basketball in college at Humboldt State University, strength training has become my passion. Itβs my personal mission to share this passion with as many individuals, especially women, as possible in my lifetime. There is no greater feeling than that of your own strength.

I utilize scientific methods to develop your exercise program. You will get a brand new training program every month, each one will building upon the last. Because of this progression you are constantly working towards your goals, learning new movements, and becoming a master of your own health and fitness goals. This includes proper de-loads, and rests days. We train with intention over here, with just as much focus on rest and recovery.β
Forget bulky excel templates, or PDF's. With the Little Lyss Method you get a subscription to the TrueCoach app. Via TrueCoach you get a new training plan each month. These are just a few of the questions that I will ask upon our initial discovery call. You can plan to spend about 30-45 minutes chatting with me about your specific exercise goals. I will then take that information and create a customized program to help you achieve those goals. I require a 3-month commitment initially, as best results will be obtained 12 weeks+.

Long term goals (looking a year from now, where do you want to be)
Availability and desired time to train (e.g., 3 days a week strength train, 45 minutes, etc.)
Facility and equipment availability (e.g., home gym, commercial club, etc.)
Personal preferences, if you hate to deadlift, there are other options that will accomplish the same goal.
Bi-weekly form checks. Your program will include certain movements that I will have you film to ensure that you are executing the movement properly and that the intensity prescribed is appropriate.
Voluntary form checks. If you're ever in doubt, send me a video of you performing a movement that you would like checked. I provide instant feedback.
Progressive overload. Each week you will see variations in your training load. Every 3-4 weeks your exercise change. This is all to change the stimulus placed on the body, and keep you progressing forward toward your goal.
Video links. Each exercise prescribed to you has a clickable video link to my YouTube channel. 95% of all exercises are performed by myself, the other 5% are videos that perform the movement precisely as I would coach it in person.
