What Happens When You Really Begin Fueling Yourself
When you start fueling yourself with intention ✨EVERYTHING CHANGES✨
Intent drives behavior.
Intentionally attempting to include more protein means guess what, you’re going to consume MORE PROTEIN. Even if you don’t hit your “goal” every day, I’m willing to bet that you’re eating more than you were before you began fueling your body with a purpose.
When you consider how you want to feel, instead of eating simply because something is available or convenient-you’re fueling with intention.
If you want to feel like your workouts are actually FOR SOMETHING? Then fuel yourself like like they’re FOR SOMETHING. Sweating for 60 minutes is just the tip of the iceberg. How you eat before and after that event dictates how effective your training session actually is, and what it will do for you.
Even if your intent is to have a night full of more drinks and desserts than you know you “should”, going in with the INTENT to have a fun and decadent night will allow you to enjoy the experience and move on back to behaviors that better suit your goals-without shame or guilt.
So the next time you go to eat, I encourage you to ask yourself: what is the purpose? WHY ARE YOU EATING? Is it for pleasure? For experience? For need?
Knowing WHY you are eating helps to keep your intentions in check.
Intent-driven actions are LETHAL. Start including this type of focus in your life and you will annihilate your goals.
Where are your intentions driving your nutrition behaviors? Where is your focus?
